Thinking about doing the Hoover Dam Marathon? Here's what you need to know....
The Hoover Dam Marathon is located at Boulder Beach Picnic Area, Lake Mead, NV. It's an absolutely beautiful setting with wide paved terrain. This event offers a full marathon, a half marathon, a 10k, and a 5k run.
It is extremely well organised with lots of staff, toilets, information, and water / aid stations. Its dog and kid friendly with lots of parking and the atmosphere is awesome, full of energy.
The race starts early to avoid the sun heat and the organizers call out each runner when they finish (personalized if requested). Each runner receives a super nice t-shirt and a medal.
